Apple has just released iOS 14 Beta 7 with many small changes; among these we mention the possibility of enjoying the dark mode on rainbow backgrounds when we set it at the system level and a change to the application library.
iOS 14 Beta 7: small but substantial changes
Yesterday, the Apple released the new beta of the 14 release of iOS and iPad OS to developers. With the approach of the stable version, the betas become more and more frequent and full of very few changelogs, but which are worth mentioning.
Let’s start with the first one: the rainbow backgrounds that adapt to the Dark Mode. Wallpapers colored with rainbow stripes turn “black” when system-wide night mode is automatically (or manually) activated. However, it is no longer possible to select the dark background as the default;
The second big news concerns the library of optimized apps; Apple has in fact modified several aesthetic goodies. Now we find the folders: Social, Utilities, Productivity and Finance, Creativity, Other, Health and Fitness, Shopping and Food, Entertainment, Travel, Games, Arcade and Education.
Finally, we report a bug fix for the AirPods banner; when connecting the headphones to an iPhone or iPad with the beta 6, an error occurred that caused the display of incorrect text. Now, this problem seems to have been solved.
Recall that the official version of iOS 14 will be released immediately after the presentation of the new iPhone line-up which, according to the latest rumors, should take place in October and not in September, as usual.
In addition to the renewed iPhone 12 range, consisting of four models (two standard and two Pro), we will probably see the new Watch Series 6 and the new iPad Air IV with an iPad Pro-like design, after several months of rumors and leaks about it.
