OnePlus is preparing to enter the already populated niche of in-ear wireless earphones with the already anticipated OnePlus Buds, among the protagonists of the One Plus event scheduled for 21 July.
If the company had preferred to leave an aura of mystery in view of the official presentation, limiting itself to revealing that the new devices will ensure up to 30 hours of autonomy with a single charge of the case, to break the suspense in the OnePlus house 9to5Google and Max Weinbach of XDA Developers, published the first official images of the new in-ear earphones extracted from the APK of OnePlus Buds.

So here is how the new earphones will aim to compete with Apple’s AirPods Pro, but also Samsung’s Galaxy Buds Live and Huawei’s FreeBuds 3. Three colors are available – blue, black, and white – for a case similar in all respects to that already proposed by the competition for some time.
The OnePlus Buds should support Dolby Atmos and the ability to geolocate one of the two headsets through a “Find my device” option in case of loss. The weight of the earphones will be 4.6 grams, while the case will weigh 36 grams.
No confirmation on the price, even if it is assumed that the OnePlus Buds could be launched for less than 100 euros. At this point we just have to wait a few hours to get all the confirmations from OnePlus.
