OnePlus Buds true wireless headphones are available in gray, white, and blue for $79. This is the first pair of true wireless headphones. They are launched together with the OnePlus Nord midrange smartphone, about which we said a few words here.

OnePlus Buds are among the most affordable true wireless headsets on the market, but not the most affordable. They don’t have noise cancellation function, silicone headphones or wireless charging.

Instead, it offers up to seven hours of listening from headphones and a total of 30 hours of listening if we add the battery of the case. When it comes to charging, OnePlus says we’ll get 10 hours of listening time with just 10 minutes of charging. A full charge should provide approximately 80 minutes of listening time.

OnePlus Buds is an interesting product to test

It is interesting to know how better OnePlus Buds are, to be worth the investment.

OnePlus Buds supports Dolby Atmos, which should create a very good surround sound experience. These headphones are also IPX4 waterproof. This means that you will cope with water splashes, not that you can pour water on them.

Xiaomi also launched the Mi True Wireless 2 Basic headphones. They have a price of 70 dollars, which means that they are even cheaper than OnePlus Buds. At this price, Xiaomi’s headphones cancel out background noise. It also turns the music on and off, depending on when you insert or remove the headset from the ear. In terms of autonomy, it is just as good as OnePlus Buds.

In Europe, are available in blue and can already be pre-ordered.
