Sony has officially unveiled the price and release date of PlayStation 5, the next-generation console is coming in November.

After much waiting and persistent rumors, Sony has officially unveiled the two missing pieces of the puzzle. We finally have the price and release date of the PlayStation 5.

In the Showcase event, which follows the one held a few weeks ago, Sony showed off a ton of new gameplay from the most anticipated titles. Spiderman: Miles Morales, Final Fantasy XVI, Hogwarts Legacy, Demon’s Souls, and many other titles are back again as protagonists with many new images. However, the wait was all for the two most anticipated information, namely price and release date.

PlayStation 5 will be available in two versions, different from each other due to the presence of support for games on disc. PS5 will be available starting from November 12, 2020, and these will be the prices for the two different versions:

  • PS5 – Version with disc support – 499 €
  • PS5 – Digital version – 399 €

Only for some countries, the launch of PlayStation 5 has been brought forward to November 12th but fortunately, the other ones will have to wait a few more days. Even so, the rumors which circulated a few weeks ago weeks, even the ones about the launch price of the console, aligned with Xbox Series X, seem to be true. In short, the new generation is now well defined and all that remains is to wait for the launch of the two consoles to finally enter the new dimension of gaming.
