Recently, Xiaomi launched several new products such as the global version of the Mi Smart Band 5, a curved gaming monitor, TWS headphones, and the Mi TV Stick 2K. Beside them, they presented a new generation of the company's scooters, the new Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2. In addition, the company also launched the Mi Electric Scooter 1S, which is an improved version of the company's original scooter for global markets. Let's start with the main differences between the two. The Mi Scooter 1S weighs 12.5 kg and has a range of 30 km. The Mi Scooter Pro 2 weighs a little more, 14.2 kg, but in compensation, it has a much longer range, 45 km, thanks to its 474Wh battery. The maximum speed of both is 25 km/h. The new scooter from Xiaomi is made of aluminum alloy and is very light, weighing 14.2 kg. Despite this, it can take a lot of weight, up to 100 kg to be more precise. It can be folded in just 3 seconds, according to Xiaomi. The scooter has three speeds, the pedestrian mode, from 0 to 5 km/h, the standard mode, from 0 to 20 km/h, and the sports mode, from 0 to 25 km/h. The user controls everything related to the scooter with the Mi Home App, available for Android and iOS. Through the app, you can even lock the scooter remotely. The Mi Scooter Pro 2 has a panel with an LCD screen that shows the speed and allows you to make adjustments like driving mode or connect to the smartphone via Bluetooth. It has a 600-watt motor and a double braking system with shock-absorbing tires. The 2-watt beacon illuminates up to 10 meters away. The taillight is also new, and the scooter has reflective stickers on the front, rear, and sides. Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2 will cost 499 Euros, and Mi Electric Scooter 1S will cost 399 Euros. In addition, they also showed a special version of the scooter to Formula 1 fans, the Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2 Mercedes AMG-Petronas F1 Team Edition. Predictably, this is the coolest of all, and it should also be the most expensive, but its price has not yet been reported by Xiaomi.
