Just as we first saw Ahsoka Tano in a Live-Action performance performed by Rosario Dawson, The Mandalorian Episode 13 revealed some very important details about the entire Star Wars plot, including Baby Yoda’s real name and a bit of his origin.
The best thing about it is that it seems that the following episodes will only continue to reveal more things little by little. (Warning: There are spoilers ahead.) Little Yoda is really called Grogu and he was part of the Jedi apprentices during Anakin Skywalker’s fall into darkness. However, the little boy (who was already 50 years old by then), was lucky enough to be rescued during the massacre.
By the end of Episode III the feeling was that there were few or no Jedi left in the Star Wars universe. In that ending we saw how Padme gives birth to who would be the protagonists of the following episodes, but over time we have seen that there are more hidden Jedi (or apprentices). One of these is Grogu who happens to meet Ahsoka Tano in the last episode.
Also, if you saw this episode 13 you may be wondering what other Jedi may be alive and meet Grogu and Mando. The fans have already got to work and remember that Luke and Leia already exist and that they would be about 10 years old, although no one sees possible that they appear.
Another that would be available is Cal Kestis, protagonist of Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order and who would be about 30 years old for the series. The game was played by Cameron Monaghan who may be too young for the Live Action role but at least he already knows about the character.
Finally, there is talk of Ezra Bridger, Ahsoka Tano’s acquaintance that nobody really knows where he is or what he is doing. However, the signal activated by Baby Yoda may have attracted him, but we would have to wait until the next episode to check.
