We are now approaching the launch of two new next-generation consoles. Microsoft has already made almost all of its moves with the new Xbox Series X and Series S, only Sony is missing. But now the company has announced officially the date of the next PlayStation 5 showcase event.
Sony also decides to discover some of their cards, with an event to be held on September 16th. The event will obviously be broadcasted live on Twitch and YouTube and will presumably focus on the new titles expected on PS5.

The event should last just under one hour, with the hope that the company will make room not only for games but also for the PlayStation 5 itself. The attention of the public is now concentrated around the latter details, after the fresh information leaked by Microsoft with the Xbox Series S. Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Demon’s Souls and other games could show themselves with new and interesting details but it’s obviously not excluded that Sony may drop other news to respond to the moves of Microsoft. Given the unexpected reveal of the console during the previous event, it is not to be excluded that the long-awaited questions related to price-output may be answered during the event.
