Will Jujutsu Kaisen get a second season or not?

Jujutsu Kaisen season two

With the end of the first season of Jujutsu Kaisen and a feature film on the way, now it’s time to question whether the anime will have a second season and more or less when it would come out.

Apparently, there are good reasons for the anime to continue, and that goes beyond the success of the inaugural season of the animation or the announcement of the feature film that implies confidence for the project. Calm down, we’ll explain.

Will Jujutsu Kaisen have a second season?

One of these reasons is that the new confirmed film will adapt volume 0 of the manga and that brings a relationship to the events of Gojo’s Past and the arcs of the Shibuya Incident, something that would probably be present in a second season of the anime, for example.

Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 is scheduled to be a release from the early 2022 anime catalog.

You see, if the animation studio MAPPA manages to maintain the production schedule without harming any script or even its team, there is a chance that the second season of the hit anime is ready to debut there by the end of December 2022 or even in early 2023.

Currently, the first season of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime is available in six languages on Crunchyroll and contains 24 episodes. The animation has an average rating of 4.8/5.0 stars, which is quite high for a recent release of the end of 2020.

In addition, Jujutsu Kaisen has won the ‘Crunchyroll Anime Awards’ in 2021 in the categories ‘Anime of the Year, “Best Ending” and “Best Antagonist” – and has been nominated for several other categories.

However, there is still no adequate and official confirmation for the development of a second season by the anime producer. What is your guess: will there be a continuation?
